In 2017 8 000 postal numismatic covers each consisting of a coloured 2017 $2 Remembrance Day 'C' coin and a commemorative War Correspondent Charles Bean $1 postage stamp were jointly issued by Australia Post and the Royal Australian Mint Canberra.

The coin is mounted on a colourful see-both-sides card and housed in a souvenir envelope. The accompanying Australia Post stamp is cancelled with a specially prepared 'Remembrance' postmark dated 11 November 2017 at Canberra ACT 2600.
