In 2002 the National Servicemen's Association of Australia (NSAA) and the Australian War Memorial (A.W.M) agreed that a National Service Memorial be built at the A.W.M in Canberra. The Royal Australian Mint struck a cupro nickel uncirculated 50c dated 2011 and Australia Post printed a 60c stamp postmarked 8th September 2010 for this P.N.C.
