The 1991 Mint Set commemorates the 25th Anniversary of Australia's conversion to decimal currency. 14th February 1966 is a date many Australians will never forget it was on this day C-Day that Australians began handing back to the banks pounds shillings and pence and using the new dollars and cents.

This set of 8 coins also represents the end of an era by including the final issue of the 1 and 2 cent coins issued for circulation.
