These tiny 1 Chuckram hammered silver coins were struck at the Fort Trevandrum mint during the period 1860-1901 in the Travancore Princely State of India which was located on the southern tip of India and covered much of modern Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
Measuring only 6mm in diameter and weighing just 0.26-0.39 grams, these are extremely small coins that were used as currency.
