- Back: De Havilland DHC-6-300 (Callsign D4-CAX; built 1977) of Cabo Verde Airlines on Ilha do Sal (Amilcar Cabral) International Airport Crashed on San Francisco Mendes International Airport (Praia) on 28.09.1998. On Board: 3 crew, 19 passengers (among them also Prime Minister Carlos Veiga). One passenger died (bodyguard of Veiga). The aircraft was a total loss.
