Marking the anniversary of Federation on 1 January 1901, this special uncirculated set honours the six original colonies that became Australia’s founding states, alongside a seventh coin representing the Commonwealth of Australia.

Each 25c state coin showcases distinctive floral and faunal emblems, while the $1 Commonwealth coin completes the collection. The New South Wales and South Australia designs also acknowledge the Australian Capital Territory and Northern Territory, which were part of those states at the time of Federation. All coins feature the Daniel Thorne effigy of His Majesty King Charles III.
