The Perth Mint has issued a 2017 Wedge-Tailed Eagle $1 proof struck from 99.9% one ounce pure silver. The reverse depicts an impressive eagle perched on a tree branch designed by renowned American Sculptor and Engraver Mr John M Mercanti the 12th chief engraver of the US Mint.
