The Australian Lunar silver coin series II dated 2008-2019, is inspired by the ancient Chinese Lunar Calendar, which assigns one of 12 animals to each year. This set of twelve gilded $1 coins are encapsulated and cased, each coin is 1oz of pure silver. 

The coins reverse includes the year date and depicts a traditional Chinese animal for that year. The Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the monetary denomination are shown on the obverse. The set of 12 coins are beautifully presented in a special red and black presentation case with certificates of authenticity.
