To celebrate the 25th anniversary (1966-1991) of the introduction of decimal currency, Note Printing Australia (NPA) and the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) released 800 note sets in leather bound portfolios. The notes in this impressive set came from NPA's archives consisting of final print runs of ten shillings, one pound, five pounds and ten pound notes together with first print runs of one dollar, two dollars, ten dollars and twenty dollar notes.
The serial number on each note is below 1000 and the last three digits match on each note. The numbers on the ten shilling and five pound match in full.
The full set of first and last banknotes was completed in 1994 when NPA/RBA released a 3 banknote portfolio consisting of the first print run 5 dollars, 50 dollars and 100 dollar notes. This is known as the Triple Anniversary Collection. These 3 notes are matching serial numbers
